This was a ground-up new construction. Overall space planning and design, selection of interior finishes and materials and full-time project management were key responsibilities.
The first priority was to stay on budget without sacrificing the design goals of modern indoor outdoor living. To do this, I worked very closely with the architect and general contractor, and made sure the budget was allocated strategically: save where possible and prioritize the design elements that would be most worthwhile.
The end result was an amazing showcase of an airy, modern family home with clean lines and natural materials that blurred the line between indoors and out.
